  • Tip 5
  • The last tip on how to chrome and cleaning your screen.

Chrome Shine
If your bike has chromed surfaces then follow these steps:

Firstly wash down the surface then dry. Take a damp rag and apply a pea sized amount of Autosol to it. Work into the area very thoroughly in a circular fashion until the residue appears black. Wipe the area with a clean cloth and carry out the process again until the black residue hardly appears, finally wipe clean with the dry rag and the work the area with a new rag until a strong shine appears.

Clean Screen
Bugs, flies they seem to want to join you on your ride so much so that they do not want to come off when you clean you bike !

A top tip is to carry baby wipes with you, and when you stop for a break take 2 minutes to wipe clean your visor and screen. If they prove to be stuck fast then try this method. Get a cup of warm water and a toothbrush, spray a small amount of WD-40 onto the screen and scrub it with the toothbrush. When done bathe the area in lightly soaped water to remove the flies and WD-40

On to the Do and Don't section !
