This month's thought
Race Amalgamation  Talks have been going for years now on the proposal of joining the bikes of WSB with GP, why? To me that is like racing touring cars with F1 cars they are two completely different classes that should not be combined. Viewers watch each class because of their difference, people who like WSB like it because they can relate to the bikes, people who like GP like it because they appreciate the technology behind the machines. The riding strategies and styles are also far to contrasting.

The proposal to let the likes of the Yamaha R1 and Kawasaki ZX-9R race in WSB by upping cc limits to 1000cc for all types seems the farthest step to take. But the proposal of mixing two completely different types of bike together sounds ludicrous.
